What Do You Feed Apple Trees?
发布时间:2013-1-22 11:13:25
Fertilization programs are necessary for a healthy apple tree. Consider having your soil tested to
determine the pH of your soil before beginning your fertilization process. You can choose to apply
the fertilizer either by a liquid or soil application method. However, fertilization alone will not
produce a bountiful crop, you must also prevent insect and disease from attacking your apple tree.
In below, we will talk about some important elements which influences the apple plant.
Considerations
Before feeding your apple tree, consider the soil that the tree is planted in. That means, if your soil
has the correct pH, there is no need to fertilize your tree. A simple soil test will tell you what the
pH is. It is also important to remember that different species of apple trees have decisively
different soil requirements. Therefore, you need to consider the species of tree as well as the soil
conditions before beginning any fertilization or feeding program.
Nitrogen
Nitrogen is extremely important in the fertilization of apple trees. Young trees generally require
higher amounts of nitrogen than older established apple trees. Different species have different
nitrogen requirements. For example McIntosh, Jonathan and Golden Delicious require low
nitrogen (1.8 to 2.2 percent). While Rome, Red Delicious, and Honeycrisp require higher amounts
of nitrogen (2.2 to 2.4 percent). Larger trees having more wood will normally require a higher
amount of nitrogen than will dwarf trees. While nitrogen is important, it is also necessary to note
that apple trees are able to store nitrogen from season to season.
Other Nutrients
Although nitrogen is one of the most important nutrients there are other nutrients that are a part of
the fertilization program. For instance, potassium improves fruit size, the color, and the flavor of
apples while calcium is used to combat certain disorders such as cork spot. The average
homeowner with only one or two apple trees will be best served by purchasing a fruit tree
fertilizer that has been formulated to accommodate the needs of the average apple tree rather than
to customize his own fertilization program as an orchard grower would do.
Application
Apple trees can be fed by applying the fertilizer to the leaves or to the soil. Liquid fertilizer should
be applied once the leaves have opened up, after the tree has blossomed, and while the fruit is set.
Fruit tree fertilizer spikes can also be purchased. These spikes are driven into the ground around
the drip line or perimeter of the tree. The spikes slowly release the fertilizer into the soil.
Benefits
Following a fertilization program will produce a healthy apple tree. Healthy trees are better able to
fight off disease and apple trees are very susceptible to disease as well as damage by insects.
Insect and disease sprays are available and with fertilization and regular applications of a fruit tree
spray (for insects and disease) your apple tree will produce a bountiful crop of apples.

The humic acid comes from the mine which owns by our company. Well humic acid are produced from our peat mine. Then please read more information about our peat mine how to form at th-at time.
Kuan Chung Plain is a natural treasure house because of its mild climate, no matter for plant and animal. So in here there lives a plenty of flora and fauna.
Well, the coming of the Quaternary glacier resulted that the climate changed radically. As the cr-ust shifts, it can bring sediments containing ancient corpses back to the surface, where they dec-omposed. It formed into today's peat mine, a totally natural one in Chunhua County.
Different from traditional fertilizer, the biggest advantage as raw material is that it contains abundant humic acid and organic matter, whose link is decomposed so short that can be fully ab-sorbed and used by plants ( for plant, shorter the link is, easier the nutrition will be absorbed). Well, our company has been authorized to exploit this mine (The certificate No. is C6104302010126120091218).
Our peat belongs to stable organic matter and active organic matter. Active organic matter com-es from the decay of once living organisms, plant and animal. It’s broken down in the soil, or the compost pile by organic matter, stable meaning it has been completely decayed and therefore las-ts a lot longer in the soil.

The natural fertilizer Fertiplus 4-2-10 has been specially developed for use in
crops that require a high level of potassium but little chlorine. Fertiplus 4-2-10
is an organic fertilizer pellet enriched with a natural source of potassium. The
presence of high-quality organic material means that the potassium is
available during the entire growing season. The potassium source is low in
chlorine, making the end product extremely suitable for crops that cannot
tolerate potassium chloride fertilizers. The product is therefore an excellent
natural alternative for potassiums fertilizers.
The advantages of the organic fertilizer pellets:
Minerals such as nitrogen, phosphate and potassium became available to
the plants gradually and as they are required, so that there is no risk of the
minerals being washed away.
Use of the pellets results in airy soil, so that the roots absorb more oxygen
and the crop grows better.
A large proportion of the product consists of protein, made up of amino
acids. These amino acids are gradually released as a result of the breakdown of
the organic structures, making the plants stronger.

A 'dad' is tenth most popular Christmas list request for children with youngsters happy
to forgo the latest iPad, toy or new pet, a survey has found.
When it comes to Christmas, it might be safe to assume children will ask Santa for an
extensive list of toys, games and treats.
But a survey of their typical lists for Father Christmas has shown many have more
serious concerns, requesting "a dad" instead.
A study of 2,000 British parents found most children will put a new baby brother or
sister at the top of their Christmas list, closely followed by a request far a real-life
reindeer.
A "pet horse" was the third most popular choice, with a "car" making a bizarre entry
at number four.
Despite their material requests, the tenth most popular Christmas wish on the list was
a "Dad".
The survey, of consumers at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, found
children aged three to 12 years also wanted a dog, chocolate and a stick of rock.
Traditional hopes for a white Christmas were represented by a wish for "snow" in
ninth place, with sensible youngsters also requesting a "house".
Of the top 50 festive requests, 17 related to pets and animals, with some imaginative
children hoping for a donkey, chicken and elephant.
iPhones and iPads also appeared on the list, with some quirky children asking for the
moon, a time machine, a pond cover and beetroot. One child asked for Eva
Longoria and another wanted Harry Styles from One Direction.
A request for a "mum" reached number 23 on the list.

Peatlands play an important role in the biosphere. They interact with fundamental life-support
processes, involving biogeochemical cycling, food-chain support, hydrological dynamics and
water quality, and provide habitats for many characteristic (and some highly adapted) plant and
animal species.
They are associated with some of the world’s least as well as some of its most productive
ecosystems, and they are found from high cold-temperate latitudes to the tropics.
Peatlands or mires are wetland ecosystems that are characterised by the accumulation of organic
matter, which is produced and deposited at a greater rate than it is decomposed, leading to the
formation of peat. The term mire can probably be considered as a slightly wider concept than
peatland, because it encompasses all peat-forming habitats and this feature distinguishes mires
from all other ecosystems.
Over 90% of peatlands are in the temperate and cold belt in the Northern Hemisphere. The
remaining area is concentrated in tropical and sub-tropical latitudes, much of it under forest. So it
can been saying that peat is a previous resources in nowadays.
